S-100 Sinker Devels Horse - Here is an older Devels Horse in an unusual color. It has the heaver hook hanger and the split ring on the line tie. It is stamped Devels Horse. It is a color I have not seen before. It has a black back with gold scales on the sides. It has three faint stripes down the sides. Perhaps an early version of the color Golden Shiner that came out about 1958. 1951 - 1955
S-100 Sinker DEVELS Horse - Here is another Pre 1955 lure. This lure is stamped... Devels Horse... It has the heavy hook hanger and has the split ring on the line tie. It is in color # 8 Shad with the red gills. It has a different eye color. Black / Gold / Black instead of Black / Yellow / Black. The eye looks Silver in the light indoors. Outdoors it is definitely a Gold Leaf color. I have 6 other old Smithwicks in the color # 8 Shad and all of them have the standard Black / Yellow / Black. 1951 - 1955
