F-200 Devils Horse in a color I have never seen before. It is White with Blue Stripes. It came in a 1" 2 piece cardboard box that was stamped... F-222 Devils Horse. The 1963 J.T. Lloyd wholesale catalog lists color #19 as Blue Stripper.
S-200 Devils Horse Sinker - using the F-200 blank.This lure does not show up in any of the lure charts we have. It must have been a very limited production lure. This is the only one we have ever seen. It was produced sometime after 1963. Thanks to Steve Barrow for sharing this with us.
F-300 Devils Horse - Color: #12 Chinkapin Bream. The F-300 Devils Horse lure has a wood blank that is 5 1/2" long and they have three treble hooks, heavier hook hangers and large pointed spinners on each end.

B-900 MA Scooter - Devils Horse. The Ma Scooter has a 3 3/4" wood body which is flat on the bottom. It has one small rounded spinner on the rear. It has two hooks.
C-900 Pa Scooter - Devils Horse.
This lure is in a one piece box with the flexible plastic top. The box is stamped C-913 Devils Horse PA Scooter. Color #13 Silver Shiner. The Pa Scooter has a 4" wood body which is flat on the bottom. It has one small rounded spinner on the rear. It has two hooks.
F-2000 Chug Horse - This lure used the same blank as the F-200 Devils Horse.
F-1000 Popper - Devils Horse . It uses the F-100 blank.
This lure never made it into the color charts. It is shown in Adrien Delbasty's Reference book. This one is in color # 3 Silver Minnow. The ones shown in Adrien's book have a lead weight on the tail. This one has the ball weight. It also has split rings on each of the hooks as they attach to the hook hangers
S-300 Race Horse Version 1.
This lure is stamped "Race Horse". The early Race Horse lures were stamped this way and had a large ball weight on the front. In later years they were stamped "Devils Horse Race Horse" and had the big ball weight on the front and a small ball weight on the rear. It comes in color new #11 Dragon Fly which came out in 1963. It also comes with the 2 piece cardboard box stamped Devils-Race-Horse S-311. Both the lure and box are in excellent condition. The Race Horse first appears in the 1963 color chart. All of this indicates that this combo is from 1963... one of the first years production of the Race Horse.

This lure is in a hard plastic box. It has the large ball weight in the front and a small ball weight in the back. It is in color # 5 Yellow with Black Stripe.
C-1000 Toothpick V1, Devils -
This is one of the earliest Devils Toothpicks I have seen. It is stamped Devils Toothpick. It is longer than the Toothpicks you usually see. The usual ones are 2 3/4" long. This one is 3" long. It also comes in #8 Shad. The hardware is different. It does not has a ball weight. The hooks are different sizes. This is what I call a version 1 Toothpick.
C-1000 Toothpick V2 - Devils -
This is the traditional 2 3/4" long wood body Toothpick. It has no name stamped on it. The hardware is different. It does not has a ball weight. The hooks are different sizes. It is in color #16 Black Shiner. This is what I call a Version 2 Toothpick as it has a fatter body than the previous model.
C-1000 Toothpick V3 - Devils. This is the traditional 2 3/4" long wood body. The hardware is the normal 2 hook design with a rear ball weight.

The nose on this lure is more rounded than the Carrot Top. This bait is color: #13 Silver Shiner. The 1 box is stamped: D 1013 . Devels Warhorse.These have been found stamped Devils Warhorse.

This is an array of 6 Devels Horse Rooters. 1. Snake Head in in un-cataloged color - Yellow w/Black Spots; 2. Razorback Rooter in White w/Black Stripes; 3. S-400 Devels Horse Rooter in un-cataloged color - Yellow/Gold Scale w/Black Back; 4. Un-cataloged lure and color - Devels Horse Rooter using F-100 body and rear hook on the belly - color Black w/Spots in Red, Green, White; 5. Un-cataloged lure in Shad. Devels Horse Rooter using F-100 body with rear hook coming directly out the back; 6. Un-cataloged lure and color. Devels Horse Rooter using F-200 body in Yellow w/Black Spots. The only lure missing from this array is the Well Digger which was the first of the Rooter line.
