Gandy Dancer 1949-1953

Very old. It has the screw eye for the hook hanger and the clipped Eger spinner. Old color and the Mustard Eye.. 1949?

This is an old Gandy Dancer. It is the larger size. The wood body is 3" long. It has the screw eye for a hook hanger and a split ring on the line tie. It is not stamped with a name. It is a Black/Gold Shiner. 1950?

This is a great lure. It has the clipped Eger spinner and the Mustard Eye.Looks like it has never hit the water. It is the larger size Gandy Dancer. It only measures a 1/4" longer the the Gandy Dance JR. but it is much fuller around the body. It is 3" long. It is in the color Black with White Ribs. It has the Egar Spinner which has been cut down. Smithwick used these spinners on many of his very early lures. It is stamped ..Top and Bottom and also a faint name.. probable Gandy Dancer. Produced around 1949.

This is an early bait from the 1950's. The spinner is stamped "EGER Bait Co. The ends if the spinner are clipped off. This the the spinner that Jack Smithwick used on this series bait. It also has the split ring on the line tie. 1950?

This is a Gandy Dancer Jr. The wood body is 2 3/4" long. It has the old heaver hardware. It has no spinner on the rear and it has two hooks. It is not stamped with a name. It is a different color. It seems to be a blend of Black Shiner and Golden Shiner. Perhaps it is the color that turned into color #3 Golden Shiner. 1949-1952

This is a very old Gandy Dancer Jr. The wood body is 2 3/4" long. It has the old heaver hardware and a split ring on the line tie. It has one large pointed spinner on the rear and it has two hooks. It is not stamped with a name. it is a Red color with Gray/Black ribs. It has no eyes painted on it indicating that it is the older version. 1951?
