Scooter - This is a great lure. It is stamped "Scooter" and comes in a very old color. I assume that it is older than the 2" Scooter, the MA Scooter and the PA Scooter. Perhaps it is the lure that the others originated from. It has a pointed spinner rather than the round bow tie spinner that all the other PA Scooters have. It has the old heavy hook hanger. The shape of the body is also a little different. I am guessing that this is the color Chinkapin Bream from the early 1950's. I am guessing this lure is from 1953-1954.

C-900 Pa Scooter - DEVELS - This is a nice Pa Scooter from about 1958. It is in the color #11 Dragon Fly and has the Red Eyes. After 1958 the eyes changed to Blue (Blue/Yellow/Black).The eyes are fully in the bottom. This lure uses the newer hook hardware.

The small end of the oval eyes are facing the front of the lure instead of the tail. It comes with the correctly marked 1 1/4" cardboard box. The Pa Scooter has a 4" wood body which is flat on the bottom. It has one small rounded spinner on the rear. It has two hooks. 1956-1963
